Put a pair of BRI’s in your boots to make sure the steps you take are safer. Blast Resistant Insoles (BRI’s) were developed by applying the same technology we use to make our protective stab and bullet-resistant body armor. These blast and fragment resistant insoles replace existing military boot insoles and offer added protection from injury to the soft tissue and bones on your feet. BRI’s are made with 100% woven Aramid fiber. BRI’s offer increased blast and fragment protection over existing military boot insoles from land mines and any other types of explosive devices.
DISCLAIMER: The BRI is intended to offer greater blast resistance than ordinary insoles to anti-personnel landmines. No claim is made that the BRI is “mine proof” or that injury or death can be avoided by use of the BRI. On the contrary, serious injury, including injury to your feet, will most certainly occur if you are subjected to a landmine explosion. There is also a high probability of death. The BRI is not landmine proof. No one should step on a landmine to test the BRI. Moreover, NO ONE SHOULD ENTER AN AREA WHERE LANDMINES MIGHT BE PRESENT. IF ENTRY IS REQUIRED, ENTRY SHOULD NOT BE MADE WITHOUT FOLLOWING STANDARD MILITARY PROCEDURE.
Do not modify the BRI or expose it to ultra-violet light or to bleach or other chemicals. The BRI should be replaced after 1 year.
