HubZone

The HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program stimulates economic development and creates jobs by providing Federal contracting preferences to small businesses. Armor Express has obtained HUBZone certification and benefits from these preferences.

Funding to help pay for bulletproof vests is available through the US Department of Justice BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP. Since 1999, over 13,000 jurisdictions have participated in the BVP Program, with $277 million in federal funds committed to support the purchase of an estimated 800,000 vests.

STEP 1 - REGISTER ONLINE NOW!

STEP 3 - PURCHASE VESTS AFTER DOJ FUNDING DECISION

Funding decisions are made immediately after the “open application period” ends. Applicants are notified via email regarding their approved funding levels. Armor Express products can be purchased through any authorized Armor Express distributor.

STEP 2 - APPLY ONLINE DURING ENROLLMENT PERIOD

Be sure to identify the total number, type, and projected cost of Armor Express vests for your eligible and participating law enforcement officers.

STEP 4 - REQUEST PAYMENT BY COMPLETING AN ONLINE RECEIVING REPORT

Once vests are delivered, complete an online receiving report and request for payment.
