Jamison joined Armor Express in 2018 as Program Manager, responsible for customer and contract administration. His focus is on accomplishing program objectives for body armor development, production and sustainment to meet the needs of the Federal Government. In his current role, he leads program management for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ), along with General Services Administration (GSA) contracts.
Jamison has extensive program management experience in the federal law enforcement and military sectors. Before joining Armor Express, he served as Program Manager at the Department of Homeland Security, where he oversaw the procurement of ballistic and body armor equipment for the department’s Special Response teams and training. Prior to that, he was the Project Manager/Contractor for the Department of the Army Force Protection Systems (USA-FPS), where he was directly responsible for the acquisition of equipment, instructors and training locations in support of U.S. operations in Afghanistan. Jamison’s other leadership roles included serving as Project Manager for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), where he oversaw the ICE Course Development Instructors and Armory Support for the National Firearms and Tactical Training Unit (now referred to as the Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs) for Alutiiq International. Earlier in his career, he also served as Lieutenant and Acting Deputy Chief of Police for the Kwajalein Police Department, U.S. Army, managing Special Response Teams and Special Missions, and coordinating efforts in various regions around the world.
Prior to his overseas service, Jamison was a patrol officer, field training officer, patrol sergeant, Sergeant for Special Operations and Community Development, and Chief of Police for various police departments in the state of Iowa, beginning in 1989.
Jamison spends a great deal of time on the road supporting Armor Express’ customers, as well as collaborating with the team at Company Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia and at our manufacturing facilities in Eden, North Carolina and Central Lake, Michigan.
