As Director of Plant Operations, James is responsible for strategically managing all factory functions and processes, including the implementation and control of systems for ISO quality management; the integration of Lean Six Sigma and engineering of TPS/Lean tools; the administration and development of supplier quality assurance practices; and the overall execution of operational excellence initiatives.
James has close to 15 years of experience in Military and Law Enforcement manufacturing operations, with a deep understanding of best practices for running both single and multi-facility environments. Prior to joining KDH, he served for almost 10 years at Point Blank Enterprises in various management roles, including as Production Supervisor, Corporate ISO Manager, Production Manager, Lean Systems Engineer, and Supplier Quality Manager. There he oversaw the assembly and packing operations for both military and law enforcement products, as well as the deployment and maintenance of a multi-site ISO quality management system. Following Point Blank, he led operations for other local Florida manufacturers including Xeleum Lighting and Controls, Salt Chamber, LLC and Borano, Inc., expanding his hands-on experience with factory processes.
James is a Business/Commerce graduate of Miami Dade College.
