As Director of Ballistics Research & Development, Jonathan oversees the advancement and execution of Armor Express’ ballistic R&D initiatives, including new product innovation; the design, analysis, and testing of technical materials and applications; process improvements; quality assurance & safety; and project management.
Jonathan has more than 20 years of ballistic technical knowledge and product design expertise. His extensive management experience has covered the gamut of ballistic development programs for Law Enforcement and the Military. Among his accomplishments are the commercialization of 70 new products; he is a co-inventor of four patents; and he has published several validation studies demonstrating the effects of fiber properties and ballistic performance.
Prior to joining Armor Express, Jonathan served in a number of leadership roles in product engineering, ballistic testing and technical sales at Barrday Corporation, an advanced material solutions company. Prior to that he worked as a ballistic technician for M.W.B Ballistics Consultants.
Jonathan holds an Associate’s Degree in Textile Technology from Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology and an Associate’s Degree in Advanced Science from Centennial College of Applied Arts & Technology.
