Jim Henderson has served as a board member since 2016.
Jim was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Steel Connect, (NASDAQ: STCN) and one of its operating subsidiaries, ModusLink Global Solutions, a global supply chain and logistics leader serving Fortune 500 companies and emerging leaders throughout the world. He resigned from this position in December 2018. Throughout his career, he held various leadership positions, serving as Chief Executive Officer of School Specialty, Inc.; Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer of WebFinancial Corporation; President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Aydin Corporation; and Chief Executive Officer of ECC International. For over a decade, he was an operating partner of Steel Partners LLC, a subsidiary of Steel Holdings, a global diversified holding company that owns and operates businesses. He also has served on the Board of various companies, including DGT Holdings Corp., SL Industries, Inc., Aviat Networks, ECC International, Relm Wireless Corp., Angelica and BNS Holding, Inc., among others. He currently serves as a Board member of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc., a manufacturer of aerospace and defense products and systems.
Jim has extensive experience in the body armor industry, having served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Point Blank Enterprises. Jim was instrumental in the Company’s growth, overseeing significant expansion during his tenure, including service to the U.S. Armed Forces, Federal and Domestic law enforcement agencies, international markets, and U.S. Special Forces. Along with the team, he established strategic partnerships with many of the world’s leading fiber, composite and aramid companies, weavers, technology innovators and other defense manufacturers and suppliers. He also oversaw the merger of Point Blank Enterprises, Protective Products International, and PARACLETE. As an operator, financial executive and business leader, Jim successfully managed the integration of three manufacturing facilities into one central hub and instituted Lean Manufacturing and Change Management processes that resulted in a far more efficient operation and a foundation for growth.
